Ask an experienced insurance broker and not the clueless Facebook mob. I recommend Carsten Creutzburg

It's a Lottery. Best chances probably at Bangkok Bank or Kasikorn. Bring your Passport, a certificate of residence and if possible, a recommendation of your employer/ company, as you're on non-b.

In Jomtien it's usually done to the next day. You might ask "how much is express?"

For the transfer you need the sellers documents. Usually the buyer or the shop goes for it to the DLT.

@Lay ******
in addition to Keith info: the monthly transfers need all to be shown as transfers from abroad in your bank book.

It's never the Bank, who forces you to buy an insurance. It's the staff who want's to make some xtra money. Most banks are trying like that now. If it's only about 2000,- THB, just accept instead of paying some agent. Agents often ask for 5k for opening an account.

I know mini van rides only from visa runs, a couple of years ago. I never felt well. Today I avoid them whenever possible. Every week you see news reporting about horrific accidents, mostly caused by speeding or sleeping drivers.

Many of them are driving like the Hell-Drivers. Every week accidents with lots of fatalities.

There are big busses going to PP and most probably to Siem Reap too. That's a more safe option, if you are on a budget.

Book a flight if you like to live. Going by van is suicide
