 I once needed a bank statement for non-o extension. 1 out of 12 transfers from overseas came marked domestic, via TransferWise. I had to visit my home branch. I know from others, there are more tasks refused by some "not home branch".

I was not allowed to transfer my account to another Bangkok Bank branch. I would have to open a new one.

Is it illegal to rent a condo in Thailand for less than a month?

 what's your difficulty in understanding the word "illegal "? There exists a so called "condominium act". For renting out less than a month you need a Hotel licence. Condominiums aren't a Hotel, except of a small number of Condotels.

 They offer various Cards with different benefits for different fees. He might got a card for 750,- but the year is not over yet.

If you're really on a TR 60, you don't need to do a border bounce. Get a 30 day extension at your Immigration office.

 sure you can do it that way. Just get the 2 que numbers for the 2 jobs

Residency Certificate is in Jomtien no big deal. Go there after lunch, maybe 2.00pm and you wait only 5-10 minutes. Pickup time is from 4.00pm and another 5 minutes only.
