I always own a condo, but I’ve heard that it goes in your favour for the account. K I’m going to visit the bank with my original paperwork & see what happens

I don’t know sorry. Well there’s nothing I can do about it until I get there. I certainly won’t be transferring any money to the account

I believe owning a condo goes a long way in keeping your account. It shows that your a real person & not up to any no good 😉

when I bought my condo I had a sum of money in my BKK account transferred from wise. But I didn’t put it down for property purchase, so it went through as a local transaction. I went to the BKK BANK & they didn’t want to know. I told them that it was an international transaction but they were no help. I then transferred stating that it was for property purchase & it went through with the right code

that’s correct. I had been transferring money from wise to my account & it came up as a local transaction, because wise use a Thai bank. But I learned that when transferring money into wise you should state that it’s for property purchase it takes longer but goes through as a foreign transaction 👍

I’d have been a bit wary of doing that way. I’m glad it worked out for you. My mate lost a lot of money on a new development in Pattaya about 15 years ago
