TLDR : Answer Summary
To visit the UK as a tourist, a Thai woman requires a standard visitor visa, which costs around £90 and is generally not easy to obtain. Key requirements include providing proof of strong ties to Thailand, such as property ownership, employment, or family connections, to ensure she will return. Sponsors may need to provide a letter of financial support, evidence of accommodation, and funds for her visit. The application process includes document preparation, potential interviews at the British Embassy in Bangkok, and it may take up to three weeks for the visa to be processed.
Based on this you will need the help of an agency.

If she can get to France, she can get on a small boat & stay here as long as she wants, whilst getting free stuff

Go on uk.gov website and look for visa requirements. Click her country of residence, obviously Thailand and it will tell you what sort of visa she needs, should be 6 month tourist visa. It will then tell you all you need to supply and it is quite a lot. 90 pounds may be the fee, I haven't done one for twin year's, but believe me, you will need to spend more. She will have to prove strong ties to Thailand to prove she will go home.
Will need home, job , bank account, family ties possibly, and proof of funds for her visit to the uk, you may have to be a sponsor and then you will also have to prove accommodation is available for her plus spending money,.
It's long winded and frankly pees me off when I see the hoops I had to jump through to get my girlfriend here then I see people just turn up on a boat and try to stay for life.
You can do it but believe me it's not like us just turn up in Thailand and being allowed in for 60 days with no visa at all.
Good luck

I’m no expert but proof of a reason to return to Thailand? Owning property? Decent job? Children? Money in the bank? A letter from you stating that you will support her financially during her visit? Proof of your relationship with photos of you together and communication between you? I also think that an interview at the British Embassy in Bangkok might be required for her?
that's right but not at the embassy it's at trendy house sukhumvit soi 13 bangkok.plus he will need to show proof of annual earnings which now 27k is needed to be a sponsor.
you could be right, its a long time ago for but I do recall I had to prove my income Apr to sponsor, then it was only £18,600 now it's 27k+ and soon going up again.
Gary thats not required as a sponsor for a visitors visa, the 27k is if she wants to stay in the uk and work towards being a permanent resident. The sponsor needs to show enough money to cover her stay so that there is no impact on uk government finances
yes thats true its not an interview just a visit to give biometrics

Very simply she needs a uk visitor visa which is a 6 month multi entry visa. There are many requirements she will need to meet and some for you if you are her sponsor. You need to read the uk website to give you an indication of the documents you will need to upload as part of the application along with a visit to the VFS in chiang mai or bangkok availing as.part of the process. It takes up to 3 weeks once all documentation is submitted to gain or not her visa

Try looking in Thai london embassy. If you cant get a visa through evisa
you are aware that any Thai embassy in any country can only issue visas for Thailand right? Just like you cannot get a visa for Thailand through the UK embassy in Bangkok.

Assuming you are not married, the absolute biggy is providing cast iron evidence that she will leave the UK at the end of her stay.
