They did call and ask and we agreed 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. but the morons turned up about 10 minutes later at about 9:15! They demanded photocopies of three documents, copies of which were provided less than 2 weeks before for the actual extension!!! I would have refused to do it there and then, but my girlfriend was there and scuttled off to do their mindless bidding!
Myself and a friend both had home visits (Mine 9am, on a Sunday morning..😡) not long after renewing our retirement, not marriage, extensions in March 2024. Not in Udon but in another NE Esaan province; Nakhon Phanom.
I think the last two Click models were/are a dangerous design. In an accident the pointed fairings on the front sides could rip your leg off or easily break it. The Honda Lead looks much safer.
After using Wise for many years I've switched to Western Union recently as the exchange rate is significantly better and after getting a few free transfers the fee is now 99p. Also if you use Western Union's direct bank transfer the fee is still 0 with a slightly better exchange rate. Like Wise they tell you exactly how much you will receive (unless you're receiving Bank takes a cut). KBank does not. I usually transfer £1,000. I don't know how their rates for larger amounts compare. WUs website and app were dreadful to begin but seem to be working smoothly now.
If one really is a tourist traveling around staying in hotels etc., and although hotels must always do a TM30 reporting a foreigner staying with them, surely a hotel isn't going to be happy about having to provide a TM30 with signed copies of the owner's housebook and ID CARD for immigration?
