TLDR : Answer Summary
The time it takes to transit for a domestic flight at Suvarnabhumi Airport after arriving from the Phuket Sandbox typically ranges from 5 to 60 minutes. Since domestic flights operate from the same terminal, there is no need for security or immigration checks. However, factors such as baggage claim times and potential bus transfers to the terminal can affect the overall duration. Travelers should consider possible flight cancellations which might extend waiting times.

Can you transmit through Bangkok right now to Phuket I am not sure that that has been allowed yet as of the middle of August it was not

Approximately an hour from airplane to the next.

pre covid anything from 1 to 2 hrs but because a lot of flights cancelled you mite have to sit longer as many flights cancelled

So flying from Phuket to somewhere else in Thailand, transiting through BKK?

Domestic flights stay in the same terminal, you don't need to do security or immigration. 5-20 minute walk depending on where the planes are and if you need to be bussed from the airplane (which I doubt since the airport is dead).

Not a through booking but strangely the same airline Vietjet who only offer the flights separately.

Terry Penney. Vietjet is a point to point airline, so best to give yourself two hours

Garrett Greenwald. Depends if it's a through booking. If it's not, baggage has to be collected and then taken back up to level 4 to be checked in again for the next flight. If you have to check in min 45 mins before flight, you would probably need two hours to do it comfortably. If it's a through booking, 30 mins will pull it up

The last time I waited 45 minutes for my bag at domestic arrival hall. This is after 15 waiting minutes on the plane and bus.

minimum time between flights then.

I would say 45 minutes as long as already checked into second flight
