Is there a such thing as a 5 years DTV medical visa for medical treatment in Thailand. I'm searching for a the best specific cancer specialists to work with my doctor's in the USA. So I will need to travel back and forth twice a year

Hello, I’ve been following this group for awhile now and it has been so useful. I now have a question for anyone from America who uses Tricare (overseas health care program). Is there any hospital in Bangkok or Pattaya that will direct bill Tricare? I went to one hospital (Bumrungrad) but they said they couldn’t, but with doctor approval they could try and ask to direct bill. Thank you for your help.

Just had a quote off Staysure travel insurance for 184 (maximum) days cover for 70 y/o in thailand,£809,.price was including a 20% discount for the basic cover and with no medical conditions,.£4 p/day for peace of mind not to bad.

Whats the best medical insurance to get when you're there on a DTV? Any insurance company recommendations would be grateful.

In BKK: I asked my expat doctor (could only talk to the staff) of over half a year if they could give me 5 - 6 appointments over the course of the next 12 months. And then just provide a Letter stating those treatments.

They answered: We're generally open to do this but have to talk to our lawyer first?!

Do you have any advice? It's a real and fair thing I regularly am at this doctor for treatment(s) and thought it would be a simple thing.

2. Alternatively: is there a doctor/ clinic that is a little bit better when it comes to treatments and a Letter about those future treatments?

Any BKK recommendations? Because I don't care where I eg get my regular testosterone blood checks done.
