Because you have a Multi-Entry Visa - if you leave Thailand for a holiday during a 90 day report day - then your 90 day report date gets reset to 90 days from your return. However, you still must report to Immigration within 24 hours after reentering Thailand
No - you are wrong. You must not only report every 90 days. But upon arrival into Thailand and upon exit and arrival again you must report to immigration and file a form TM 30 within 24 hours
Yes it is the Fault of Immigration because the Chief of Immigration gave the big Embassies an ultimatum last May that the Embassies MUST verify Income which Immigration knew had not been verified for 12 to 15 years. The big Embassies said No. To keep stating that the problem is the Embassies fault is sheer fantasy.
Bill - many people have asked this legitimate question relative to extensions of stay. But all those people just must not be as intelligent as you. In these cases it has not been a matter of people getting an answer they want - they just want more input as to a correct path - a correct method - or where does the answer lie. All Visa and Extension questions could be answered by Googling making your quip meaningless.
- Wishful thinking... Thai Politics in Immigration Rule and may have nothing much to do with Expats - rather just internal power plays - challenges of authority. Farangs are often just bystanders who get caught up in the Immigration Department power battles
One Expat cannot easily fight the local powers in an Immigration Office. Especially with the turmoil of the National Imm Officer and Local Imm officer being shunted aside in the same week. One is dealing with "Policy of the Moment"
