I used that and the Page of my US Bank Account to show a transfer for 1 month when the "Funds for Long Term Stay" disappeared on WISES drop down menu and Immigration had no problem with it but it was only for 1 month. They may not do it for a whole 12 months. Best to ask your local office.

No there is not another city more lenient as it is up to the American Embassy in Thailand to grant a visa or not. Unfortunately your friend being ill has no bearing on a visa. Good luck.

Why are Wise transfers to Bangkok Bank showing as 'DEP TRF FR E-CH' instead of 'FTT'?

what bs. Bangkok Bank used to list it as a Foreign Transfer. The other way they are doing it now started in August. I don't know why Bangkok Bank decided to use another Thai Bank but it seems shady to me.
