I do not understand the Embassy Letter is supposed to be the way Immigration prefers it. It is actually the way it is stated in the regulations.

If you need to rely on a job in Thailand in order to live, you should reconsider. Most jobs are reserved for Thai people. Even if you find a job most likely it would be on a yearly contract basis which means you could have a job for year and possibly not next year.
