90 days report.

Has anyone done this by register mail? The website said it should be done at least 15 days before the 90 days, just wondering when is it too soon to post the mail?

Anyone applied the DTV visa in Manila using soft power option recently ?

We are planning to apply in Manila (plan to stay there for 10-14 days) at the beginning of next month, wondering if anyone could share some recent experience.

We are gonna enroll to the Discover Thai Nature seminar ( [members only] ) for the DTV visa, the seminar said they do not have experience from Manila so I am still thinking if Manila is a good option or we should apply in Hanoi, Vietnam instead

If you are rejected for the DTV in one xo

country (i.e. Vietnam) are you allowed to apply again in another country given you fulfil all the requirements  but perhaps there were some mistakes in your paperwork just out of naivety?

I've done a lot of visa runs, extensions, including land border runs in Laos and Myanmar. But I've been mostly living out of Thailand for over a year, but still visited and extended. When I use this passport I get asked what I'm doing in Thailand. Should I not get a DTV until I get a fresh passport? Or is this not a problem?

the rules have changed in hong kong now you need a bank statement of at least 19000 € before it was 15000 €???

Hey all, I have a bit of confusion around the ฿500k bank statement. I looked on the official website as well as other websites, and have called the consular department as well (they were confused too).

I will be using a sponsorship letter. They earn ฿490k every month. I’m not sure if there has to be just a flat sum of ฿500k sitting in an account with an image of that provided, or if over the course of 3 months there has been ฿500k in the account (different sites and people say different things).

Before I apply I’d like to know to save the cost of a rejected application.

My husband is currently back home in the UK. He’s applying for and will receive a new passport.

He’s on a non-O “Thai wife” visa and has a valid multiple reentry permit.

Can someone help to guide what the steps might be upon entering Thailand with said new passport - any additional forms to fill at immigration or prior to arrival in Thailand?

Advise about transferring his visa over once in Thailand would also be much appreciated.

Regarding the tax situation with a 180 day DTV .. I take it you can only spend up to 180 days in Thailand in any tax year (12 months)… so realistically I could not spend 180 days in Thailand , fly home for a month, then come back out for another 180 days without the Thai tax implications?

I’ve seen varying suggestions regarding the DTV but if anyone could confirm it I would greatly appreciate it
