American here, applying via Washington embassy. I’m being asked to provide a bank statement for the month of November. Unfortunately for the period my bank statement is generated, I am below the $16000 limit. However, I have an account balance form that shows proof of funds above the limit for this month.

I’m wondering if this will be accepted instead of an official bank statement, and if anyone has tried this before

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS

IMMIGRATION OFFICE CLOSURES DECEMBER 2025

ALL Immigration offices in the country will be closed the following days in December

Friday Dec 5th

Wednesday December 10th

Wednesday December 31st

NOTE; ALL Immigration offices will be closed the following days for the New Year holiday

Wednesday Dec 31st

Thursday Jan 1st

Friday Jan 2nd

That means the immigration offices thru-out the country will be closed from 4:30PM Tuesday Dec 30th until 8:30AM Monday January 5th <- Plan accordingly :)

Remember if you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) AND you go the very next day the immigration office is open you will not be charged for overstay and you can get your extension like usual. You will get an overstay stamp in your passport but it will say "overstay xxx days, fine waived due to holiday..

Also entry/exit points to thailand (airports/land borders) DO NOT CLOSE for holidays :)

Have I got this right

I enter on a visa exempt.

Apply for an O-Visa, I have the requirements, and I get 90 days.

Apply for a year extension.

I have to leave after 90 days but need to get a re-entry visa to return.

I re-enter for another 90 days then leave after getting another re-entry visa which would allow me back in 7 months.

When I return can I apply for another year extension?

Thanks.
