Got a thai girl pregnant and I’d like to stay here…. I did 3 border runs this year and was planning on doing 1 more in the new year then applying for an education visa - then a Thai bank account - then probably an o type visa for being the child’s father…. Does anyone have any advice for me to make things a bit more simple please 😩😅

Hello - I’m looking at applying for DTV under workation but not sure if I apply as a freelancer or employee.
Im a full stack software engineer and am CEO and director of a start up in Canada, we design proprietary software and do not do business in Thailand.
We received around 500k in funding and I’ve been drawing a salary of 5k per month for the past 8 months. There is only one other full time employee. Do I apply as a freelancer or employee of a company? If I apply as an employee of a company are there additional documents I should add?
I’ve been following this group for a while. It has helped me.
I want to share one idea/observation. Look - there are 1) a lot of people who ask questions, 2) quite a few people who share their struggles, 3) and some people who share their successes. On this group and elsewhere online.
My belief is that there are also x times more people who just apply for the visa and get it. Easy. No problems. No questions asked.
Remember this.
Just because you are here, in this environment where most ask and seemingly struggle, it doesn’t mean that it will be a struggle for you.
The rules are extremely simple.
If you have money and work or a course, you get the visa. That’s it.
Just because someone with 3 deportations, 45 overstays and 99 stamps has problems doesn’t mean that you will have any problems.
Visa approved for my wife and I (she’s a dependent).
I own my own businesses but found that the paperwork to apply as an employee was way easier and less hassle.
Would highly recommend for any business owners to apply as an employee of your own company.
I applied from the London embassy. I’m a U.K. passport holder and I have a company in the UAE. Overall the process took around 4 weeks for my wife and I combined.
Im a Swedish citizen who just left Thailand and currently in Da Nang to apply for my DTV.
Question one :
My passport states 4 names as my Given Names/Förnamn. (Example : Jon I Lars Fred Larsson)
But in Sweden I only go by one of them Lars, so technically the others are my “middle names”. But the name I go by is not the first one of the 4 names, it’s the 3rd. That’s where it gets tricky. But all my bank cards, credit cards and when I log on to my net bank state (example : Lars Larsson). How do I go about this? Should I separate it into first and middle names? Or maybe explain this in a separate letter?
Question two :
I could only choose to apply via the Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh embassy. But since it’s all digital do I need to be in any of these two city’s or am I good on Da Nang?
