Hi,

I need clarification, once you are approved for DTV visa, the visa is a paper or itll be stamped (sticker) on the passport?

I see people post both paper and sticker on passport.

How it works?

Thanks!

What routes have people taking to obtain this visa?

I'm thinking of the Muay Thai fighting gym route but I'm interested what else there is and what others have done

Being honest, I don't know if I could sustain that much training for five years

But I'm also confused about the five years. Can you stay ALL five years or do you have to leave for a fixed amount of time - like stay 180 days and leave 180 days before returning or can you return after 1 day, 30 days what ever?

I'm new to this so all and any info is helpful. Thanks!

I’m getting concerned as next week there are a lot of public holidays (Thai & Cambodian), my visa will expire and I’ll miss the flight back to Thailand and my appointment for surgery. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cambodia Phnom Penh- DTV soft power medical for Dental Implant treatment. 700k THB treatment.

Documents submitted:

- 6 month recent Stamped and signed Thai bank statement showing at least 500k++ THB and copy of bank book (Account and balance page) all showing evidence of funds and frequent spending in Thailand.

- Photo of passport bio page

- Copy of Cambodia Visa, arrival QR, hotel and flight booking, exit stamp and boarding pass.

- Current passport style photo of myself

- Appointment letter and treatment plan from dental clinic - stamped and signed, x-ray of my teeth, picture of implants (advert), clinic receipt for 1st appointment, more details of the treatment.

-TM30, Rental contract, Rental receipt for Thailand.

-Cambodia hotel bookings and return flight for 16th May.

Timeline:

19 April - Submitted application

20 April - Document Checking

21 April - Pending Approval

8 May - No news

I got a new passport, the DTV is on my old passport (it's the old DTV, with a sticker on the passport, not a digital one).

Question: Do I need to go to the Thai embassy to move the visa to my new passport or can I do it in BKK airport when I land?

Hi there, just wondering where does everyone add on their cover letter with brief explanation of intent to apply for the dtv? Does it go in one pdf just before the financial evidence or my softpower documents? Another thing would be, if my muay thai courses will be in bangkok, can I provide travel details for another city, as we had plans to travel around first? Thanks!

Hello everyone

We are family of 4 (2 toddlers).

We have little more than 1,000,000 baht on our bank account (enough for only 2 applications).

Has anyone here written a letter of intent stating that they will financially support their children? Was that enough?

TIA

I am currently in bkk on a 60 visa exempt entry. I am planning on flying to Malaysia and applying for multi entry visa. This is my way of navigating visa runs without any stress. I plan to leave on a Wednesday and come to bkkk back on Wednesday, is that enough to to apply for online abd receive the visa? Or do I need to stay in Malaysia longer?

Also, will this successful at navigating entry, I plan to split my time between countries and I don’t want any issues coming back and forth.

Anyone know of a Muay Thai gym on Koh Phangan that will offer authorisations? I’ve searched this group and found nothing. Thanks!

Hi all,

The Thai embassy in The Philippines asked me the following thing:

“Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status : Please upload a copy of your company registration in “my home country”, certificates of courses you have attended, and employment certificates from your previous companies as proof of your professional experience.”

However, my business is registered in Estonia as an eResident, as explained in a cover letter and the registration uploaded to the portal and explained. Yet they ask for a registration in my home country now.

Any tips on how to address this properly?

Thanks!
