I have lived in Thailand 3 years and never heard of anyone paying someone for an extension. It’s simple as heck. They will help you at immigration just go up there and say I want to do an extension.

make sure to research the other schools as well. I live next to Payap however with Chiang mai burning season for the 4th time I want to move far away.

Definitely pull up all the Thai universities that take the gi bill on the VA website. You have some options. Probably around 12 universities if I remember correctly. Look up the type of four year degrees they offer. I don’t know if they have a four year Thai degree but perhaps communication type degree. The school you pick will help you with getting your visa.

I am going to give it a try as I am currently in long term treatment at Bangkok hospital for diabetes. Will fly over to Vietnam with doctor letter and appointments probably in March.

What about those with a multi entry Non-O stamp?
Cory **********
Oh everything must be in blue ink. And sign all papers. Your wife signs her papers and you both sign the copy of the marriage certificate.

one year. Best to bring your wife. Without your wife you may only get 90 days. On the paper they don’t mentions the one year multi entry so select Non-O and hand write one year and write 5000 baht so no confusion what you want in the form.

1. Copy of wife house book

2. Copy of wife ID front and back

3. Copy of your BIO passport

4. Physically want to see rose marriage certificate

5. Copy of marriage rose certificate

6. Print out form from website at Thai embassy in Savannakhet requesting Non-O,

Arrive early at least an hour before they open so 8am. 11am they stop so be early. Can collect your passport the next day. I went on a Friday so no line but had to wait until Monday to get my passport back.

I just did this in October with one year multi entry stamp.

One man reported they only gave him 90 days because they felt he had no money. So print out any Proof you have income coming in just in case. Another man said he didn’t bring his wife only a letter from her and they gave him only 90 days.

yes you need it there 2 months before you reapply. Not for the the reentry stamp.

So this year I originally did the 90 day Non-O inside Thailand with 400k. however I had to leave to the USA again so messed up everything. So I came back in October and just went to Savannakhet, Laos with my wife and paid 5000 baht for a one year multi entry stamp at the Thai embassy. Hardly needed any paperwork and didn’t need to show income at all.

Yes easy just lots of paperwork. You also didn’t need to keep it in for 2 months. You first get the 90 day non-0 and can deposit the 400,000 the day before going to immigration. I did it this year.

Edit: After you get the 90 days Non-O extension you apply for the one year extension and money needs to be in account for 2 months.
