Well you are going to have problems for sure.

Only suggestion is enter Thailand on the 30 day exemption visa and use a visa agency to get you through the process of extending you visa while your here.

The cost is minimal and they do the legwork 👍

Follow the instructions on the website if you think any of the questions are not relevant just put your passport number in the section this will allow you to go to the next question/requirement.

They email you straight away if they need anything additional to what you have supplied

Took me 3 working days to receive mine 60 day tourist visa and then extended it at any immigration office for another 30 days cost 1900 baht (£43.00)

They look at quick short term situations

Example: A guy on a 2 week vacation spends on average 150,000 baht

A guy on a retirement visa spends 60,000 baht over the same period

We all know Thai immigration cannot see the Wood for the Trees 🤣

This will probably be another knee jerk reaction due to the bad publicity the nation has been receiving lately.

A lot of neighbouring countries are eyeing the situation closely and if the Thai immigration dept make things even more difficult then it’s their loss and other countries gain.

Savanakhet Thai embassy do not require proof of funds for 90 day O visa

Then get a 12 month extension and if not sure use an agency to do the leg work for you 👍
