From what I read on different posts it will depend where you apply, and even that is blurry. Some say Vientiane ask for 6 months but some post about recently transferred money and it’s fine, others say 3 months

6 months with all that money sitting is a little excessive but maybe ask your bank for a letter ? Maybe that will help

Appelle l’ambassade en étant très sympa ils t’arrangeront les infos, pas forcément sur les délais exact mais ils sont rassurants

Play it safe, give as much information as possible if you can provide both I would suggest to do it

- Passport copy

- Pictures as requested

- Application form

- French Bank documents in English with € currency showing over 500.000+ baht

- Documents from Thai bank for proof of financial stability

Proof of digital nomad :

- Signed Recommandations letters from past and present clients with their passport or ID card as proof

- Portfolio websites

- Letter allowing myself to work remotely

- My resume

- My rental contract in Thailand

- My French Business Registration

- Letter listing all the projects I’ll work on while in Thailand + activities/event

- Cover letter

did you pass at the end ? What other documents did they ask you ? Was the bank statement in euro ?

I’d I were you and if you are still eligible for the Non O visa you should keep it as it seems it give you more advantages on the long run compared to the DTV

DTV you have 6months+ extension 6months then go out and come back the other one give you a year (right?)
