Hey guys.

Need some advise, as every consultant I reach out to won't answer a simple question.

For LTR wealthy pensioners visa, it says you need a passive income of 80k USD or 40K USD with an investment of 250K USD in Thailand.

All I need to know is whether dividends from my own company (essentially set up like a holding company), is considered legitimate for this calculation or does it have to be from a non arms reach source?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, can someone who’s on a retirement visa be a silent partner in a Thai business, receive dividends, but not do any actual work with the business?

Hi guys,

I'm about to apply for my DTV.

I don't pay myself a salary, instead I pay myself 4 dividends a year from my UK based Limited company.

Each dividend is way more than 10k English.

Will that be suffice? Or do I need to show payslips, work contracts etc?

Any advice would be much appreciated,

Thanks.

Hi, Question about thai PIT and US witholding tax on dividends.

Iam from germany and hold us dividend stocks in germany.

The US taxes the dividends with 15% witholding tax.

If i bring this US-taxed dividends to thailand do i have a tax credit?

If these money is the only i bring to Thailand do i have to fill a tax return

if the thai PIT is lower then the 15% payed US witholding tax?

I intend to apply for the (not so) wealthy pensioner’s LTR visa, with passive income > USD $80k. Do the following types of income qualify?

1) taxable capital gains realized from sporadic stock sales throughout the year.

2) dividends received in tax advantages accounts (such as IRA, Roth IRA, HSA). i have account statements documenting the dividends, but these are not reported in tax returns.

TIA!
