What challenges did you face while obtaining the digital nomad DTV visa in Vientiane?

Just got the digital nomad DTV from Vientiane. Thanks so much for everyone’s post and advice.

Was a little confusing since the person receiving my documents asked me for a stamp on my remote employment contract and I told them that America uses signatures.

He didn’t seem to know what he was looking at and just kept saying his boss would call me. Tossed out three months of bank statements and said I only needed three months.

And then no one called. So I wasn’t quite sure what was going on in the two day waiting period.

I didn't have pay stubs so I was worried

But had a work contract, organization documents for the employer company, and my company

and I wrote up some invoices to be paid in the future
