Just got the digital nomad DTV from Vientiane. Thanks so much for everyone’s post and advice.
Was a little confusing since the person receiving my documents asked me for a stamp on my remote employment contract and I told them that America uses signatures.
He didn’t seem to know what he was looking at and just kept saying his boss would call me. Tossed out three months of bank statements and said I only needed three months.
And then no one called. So I wasn’t quite sure what was going on in the two day waiting period.
But thanks again for all the info
Edited:
I didn't have pay stubs so I was worried
But had a work contract, organization documents for the employer company, and my company
and I wrote up some invoices to be paid in the future

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience obtaining a digital nomad DTV visa from Vientiane, expressing gratitude for community advice and reporting some confusion during the process. They mentioned issues with an employee requesting a stamp on their contract and discarded bank statements. They clarified their documentation situation, revealing they submitted an employment contract and invoices due for future payment, ultimately receiving their visa despite concerns.
So you gotta have the ฿500K sitting in your bank for three months? What if you only have the cash temporarily (one month)? I myself keep everything in stocks and bonds and only pay out what I need.
Some embassies accept that but increasingly more like Vientianne insist on 3 months. A recent post detailed a rejection for having only a one month statement, lost the 10,000THB application fee
