bruh. It's not Phuket 😏 it only becomes infested with tourism for a few months a year, then it's back to it's sleepy local style self. But nice try gatekeeping authenticity 😁
yeah I get boncafe when I'm desperate and Lazada is being slow to deliver, it give that brand a chance and you might enjoy it 😁
I actually got a bag from a local coffee shop that has always supplied a blend that I really liked, but haven't gotten used to the other at this point, it's not quite hitting the spot like it did before.... And frankly the one from Lazada is cheaper on top of it 😅
Anonymous participant 728 fair point! I always hit the thrift shops in America for amazing jersey or high thread count topsheets to bring back for myself and friends.
we have access to Lazada down on the islands too, everything's pretty easy to get just like bkk, besides maybe some of the frozen foods from the import shops 😏
can I recommend you a brand? I had the same thought on coffee but then discovered this brand- they're in the north I think, but it's the staple in our house now. Good value for the amount you get too 👍🏼 both their light and med roasts are great
You can get any brand of deodorant on Lazada (SE Asia's answer to Amazon). I get Secret, and my son uses Speedstick or Old Spice. Whoever told you it isn't readily available lives under a rock and must not shop online. Check Lazada.co.th for products you're thinking are rare, and check if the price difference is worth it.
I've found that good sunblock is cheaper back in the states, and it's worth bringing any specific type of American (or where ever you're from) snacks or candies that are not so internationally popular. For me, that's RedVines, butterfinger, feastables chocolate, airheads, hidden valley ranch, beef jerky, sweet chopped jalapeno from trader joes, tapatio sauce, cans of refried black beans for Mexican nights.
Most of those can be found on Lazada too... But at 10x the price, so doesn't make it worth it.
Where ever you're from, think of the foods/treats that you enjoy and might want, and start plugging them into Lazada. You might find that some things you think are stable everywhere, are actually just popular in your country and might be harder to find abroad. It's not always what you think.
