I used them, they were great. I'm usually not the type to go through an agent, always just did my own paperwork, but in my case this time it was a little more complicated and I worried about rejection, with the stakes being very high for me personally, so I bit the bullet and paid the extra. May e I woulda been ok without them, but I was happy to pay for the peace of mind 👍🏼

maybe it was just the staff processing the OP's paperwork that made the mistake then? And then they realized it, which is why they asked for follow-up paperwork after.

DTV is a type of trouist visa, so follows the rules of needing to activate the visa within 3 month of application.

I've gotten wrong answers from AI too. It's not an oracle, make it task busy work for you, not be your teacher.

I agree, it should be easier than it is. Another user commented that banks at the same branch as me and she said they told her it's fine for them if the account was opened on the correct visa. When reading up on it somewhere official (can't remember where) it had mentioned the account remaining open would be at the discretion of the individual banks and the policies they choose.

I don't think I've needed to go into the branch at all this year, to be fair.

I think you're safe, especially given that you opened it so long ago. I opened mine over a decade ago while on WP. I switched to DTV this year and have had no problems and don't personally know anyone with an older account that has had issues. Maybe it's a regional thing though... I've heard about people in Pattaya having issues, but I'm down near Krabi.

lol, it's the embassy processing it. They staff their own citizens to do govt work on behalf of their country. This is not Samsung customer service, where they just outsource that stuff 😂 Not with DTV specifically, but with proper longstay Visa applications, a huge chunk of the official paperwork to submit is in Thai. Do you think they just use Google translate for that?

well if the intention is to shed some light on the corruption of the supplement industry in general, I'm definitely on your side about that! It is really sad to see the amount of garbage useless supplements and vitamins that the general public are conned into taking, as if it's somehow going to improve their life. I totally agree that proper nutrition is always the better solution. I'm more mean high dose of vitamin C when there's a bug going around, B12 and probiotic helping to keep the immune system strong (a d raw chopped garlic) goes a long way to keeping us out of the clinic and passing by all the little bugs that circulate around ❤️
