We've still got a GP in the UK and last July for a non OA and he did the medical cert for £25. It's just basically ticking that you've not got specific diseases.
Sorry. Hubby just asked another question!...When we applied for the visa in uk. We used copy bank statements which had been certified by our Solicitor to show proof of income. If we extend the visa here do we need the original bank statements or certified copies from uk or can we download from internet and present those?
thanks so much. We have proof of funds but just weren’t sure how we would manage to get to return to Thailand after 7th September with the visa we had. Really appreciate your help.
Thanks so much Luke. My hubby & I really appreciate your knowledge and help. We got our OA visa for the first time this year and it’s all new to us. So we really do appreciate your inside track on these matters. Looks like we might get to go the wedding after all!
Thank you so much for your replies. It’s much appreciated. Sorry for late reply myself... we flew down to Bangkok to see the family.
Just to clarify. We leave on 5th June 2018.
Our Visa Issue date in uk was 1st Sept 2017. So enter before date is 31 Aug 2018.
We arrived 27 Sept 2017 with admitted until stamp of 26 Sept 2018.
I now have a supplementary question.... If we do a border run before we go back to uk and return to Thailand say May 25th for example. Am I correct in thinking that we get another year until 24th May 2019. But we then get a reentry permit from our local immigration which means we can return 20th September 2018 and still be allowed to stay until 24th May 2019?
Then just before 24th May 2019 we apply for a 1 year visa extension at our local immigration office with proof of income or do we just do a border run and get stamped in for another year?
