but if paying at the airport leaving he will pay the fine and possibly get a ‘ban’ also… best to spend some money on legal person to 1. Pay fine and 2. Exit strategy and 3. Be allowed to return to Thai.

the worse that could happen, is that you apply for a further 30 day Visa extension when you are in Thai... which could be as low as 1,900 thb
