TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you are married to a Thai national, you can go through Thai immigration with your wife to get your passport stamped and collect your bags. Many users have confirmed that they have done this multiple times, benefiting from shorter queues. Even those without marriage ties can typically accompany Thai passport holders through immigration. However, experiences may vary based on specific immigration officers and guidelines.

Yes even without being married if you’re travelling with her.

Also when coming to Australia my thai partner is allowed to come through the Aussie line when she is travelling with me.

Yes.

And in UK, your wife can accompany you on her Thai Passport through UK Passport queue when you are travelling together.

Not sure about other nations though - sorry…

This depends on the Immigration officers. I have had them complain about not staying together and the other way we stayed together and they complained that we should have stayed in our correct channels.

Used a Thai passport at a British e-gate?

no they are not. There are Manned immigration desks next to the e-gates, primarily for people who’s passports won’t scan at the e-gate… anyhow, you can go straight to these Manned desks, bypassing the e-gate Queue. I’ve done it couple times.

yes - It’s easy to go through Thai side of immigration or VIP lane.

But Thai passport holder can’t go through British immigration e-gates.
