yes, last time they came, they did the under consideration stamp but nobody really followed up because the amnesty happened. So now people had to go “close” that under consideration and get a new 30 day extension with the stamp.
I guess they figured it was better not to go the under consideration route again.
Medical is the same. Once you take that route you can’t swap, so when your medical treatment is over, there are no other visa options for you and you must leave the country.
You need the audit from the last two years (if the company has been open that long) and you need 4 thai employees per work permit in the company as two of the main requirements.
These are the two that stop most people from being able to get a one year extension. And as the others have said, you need full collaboration from your employer.
