Andaman border bounce:
No issues for anyone doing the run, but the officers were very thorough: checking ALL visas in each passport, work permits and their renewal dates and making sure everything was 100% correct, including a full proper address on the arrival card. The lady even took the time to take off each and every staple in my passport which I found quite funny.
A couple people with a few visas (tourist or visa exempt entry) were asked for flights out which they had, so they weren’t given any problems.
Nobody was asked for the 20k but there is an atm in the same room, so that’s never much of an issue.
Nobody got asked for proof of accommodation.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Andaman border bounce process involved thorough checks by immigration officers, who verified all visas and work permits for accuracy, including the full address on the arrival card. Passengers were generally not asked for the 20,000 THB requirement, with an ATM available on-site. No one was asked for proof of accommodation, and those with multiple visas faced inquiries about their onward flights but were allowed to continue without issues.
