TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to extend their Non-B visa for a year in Koh Samui without support from their employer, who says they need to handle it independently. Commenters explain that specific documents from the employer are essential for this process, including an audit of the company and proof of hiring Thai employees. The requirement for a work permit and the necessity of employer collaboration are emphasized, and it is noted that sole attempts to get an extension without employer assistance are largely unfeasible.

And that is something you need to take up between you and your employer.

There's no one on this group that's gonna be able to change the facts.

Wait a minute. With a work permit you can no longer get a 1 year non-b ??

That's right! Only a handful of consulate sell them. You can get a one year extension of stay though.

Without the company paperwork it is 100% impossible and you would need a Thai company representative with you. Why do you think that you can no longer do a 90 day visa run for a new B visa?

Get a new employer

Unfortunately, that’s what leaves people doing non B single entry visa runs every three months (Samui immigration)

You need the audit from the last two years (if the company has been open that long) and you need 4 thai employees per work permit in the company as two of the main requirements.

These are the two that stop most people from being able to get a one year extension. And as the others have said, you need full collaboration from your employer.

I think alone impossible....

It’s not something you can do “on your own”. You need a bunch of documents from the employer, which they would have to provide. Go to the immigration office and ask for the handout of what is required. Each office has different rules so it’s essential to get their list.

Do you have a work permit?
