been in Laos 3 times in the last year, they used to ask 1500 and accept 40$ after asking to pay in usd

I went to a few exchanges in Pattaya before going for the trip, can't really find any crisp banknote under 100$ denomination. I tried to pay usd at the border but they didn't accept my notes because small stamp in the corner

whatever internet available at your condo is for sure cheaper and better performance than starlink. Starlink not intended for condos, you can't even see the sky

it's the standard procedure, if you have IDP you have to add time and cost for getting that as well

I don't have IDP, just booked my appointment and went to dlt 2 times, got both car and motorbike for approx 200 baht
