Yes you are 100% right I doubt I’ll be in the US long enough to get a new passport I might have to go for the 60 day. Can that visa be extended for 30 days?

Brandon Thurkettle I have a bit of a wrinkle I’m running out of pages in my passport so I would come in with the METV but I would have to get another passport (with I’m assuming, a new passport number). Is that going to cause any issues? I would think the original METV would be linked to my original passport number?

I have read on these forums that even if you are granted a METV visa it is still possible to be denied entry at the border? I’m not saying this applies here, but what if you had a lot of prior tourist visas and extensions? Why would the grant the visa at the embassy if they were just going to deny at the border? Doesn’t sound right to me lots of misinformation on here.

Can you share what e-visa you got? How long did it take to get? And what was the cost?

If you get a 60 day visa at an embassy can you still get turned back? I thought you could come in 6 times a year by air as long as you have a proper tourist visa?
