Hi u just got my new US passport back from the US embassy. I entered on the old passport with a 60 day TR visa. From what I’ve read on here I need to transfer the visa from my old passport to the new.
Has anyone done this? Where do I need to go? And what docs do I need?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When transferring a Thai visa to a new passport after renewal, it's important to know you cannot transfer the visa directly but rather need to handle your entry stamp. It's recommended to show both your old and new passports at the airport when departing, as this process is usually quick. For more specific cases, such as extended stays or longer visa types, you may need to visit a local Immigration Office with required documents including copies of both passports and potentially a letter from your embassy. Always check for the most current immigration requirements.
I did exactly what you are asking about two years ago. The US embassy included a letter for Thai immigration requesting them to transfer the visa into my passport. After that I was successfully able to apply for non-O at Phuket immigration
It’s only a tourist visa which can’t be transferred now if you go for a 30 day extension bring both passports otherwise just present them at the airport when you leave
I renewed my Belgium passport 2 years ago from the Belgium embassy in Bangkok. When I pick up my new passport the Belgian Embassy gave me a letter to give to Thai Immigration which stated the reason for issuance of the new passport. Take your new and old passport to immigration and they will do what is necessary.
I can only say what I have done with my uk passport, you will need to provide two copies both of your passport's in colour every page, go on the immigration website and download the form you need to fill in plus if your embassy gives you the a letter from them,
They may also ask you for your bank book if you have a retirement visa that's what happened to me in Bangkok immigration
