I have read elsewhere that only foreigners who have been granted permanent residence may fill out Thailand as their residence. Everyone else (e.g., people with retirement visas) must show their home country.
I've read elsewhere that only foreigners who have been granted permanent resident may list Thailand as their place of residence. Foreigners who have retirement or spousal visas, for example, must list their home countries as their residence.
I was out of the country recently. When I do my 90-day report, can I do it by mail, as I have been doing for years? Or do I have to go to Immigration at Chaeng Wattana?
Thank you for your response. However, in the past, I've done all of my 90-day reporting (even after taking trips abroad) by mail, and that has always been accepted. Has there been a recent change that I don't know about?
I don't understand. I thought Thai visa advice was simply a Facebook group. How does a for-profit company take over a Facebook group? Who are the "sellers"?
I wrote an email to Immigration, which said that online wasn't working and to download app. However, my app store is US, not Thailand, and I got error message that I could not download the app in this country or region. Finally, I got a Thai person to download the app and help me file. Lots of wasted time because of the inability of Immigration to keep its site working. They should be embarrassed.
