For those of us whose visas don’t expire until next year, it appears that we still have to do 90 day reporting this month since only people with expired visas appear to be exempt, according to the wording of the government’s latest announcement

TLDR : Answer Summary
According to the latest government announcement, individuals with valid visas must continue to comply with the 90-day reporting requirement, regardless of the visa's expiration date. While some believe that amnesty holders are exempt, there is no clear distinction made for those on long-term visa extensions. Therefore, it is advisable for all to proceed with the reporting as per usual.

And my advice is IF you are on a long term extension of stay (marriage, retirement, raising kids, employment, education, volunteer, etc) where you do 90 day reporting GO and do it like normal. There is no down side to doing it.

So if our visa is still valid we still need to do the 90 days report?

Extension of stay granted yearly

Think of it like this, IF you are on a long term EXTENSION OF STAY from the immigration office things are the same, you go get your extension when it's time and you do your 90 day reporting when it's due and you'll be fine

90 day reports are for people on long term extensions (retirement, marriage, employment, education raising kids etc) those people can do a 90 day report if they want to,

BUT no one who participates in the amnesty has to file a 90 day report at all

In reading the thai wording I can't see where makes any distinction between amnesty holders and other people who have to do a 90 day report.

SO

in theory, even if you're on a long term extension, you are exempt once this newest amnesty takes effect until July 31st from doing a 90 day report

If you can do a 90 day report do it,
