Can't go wrong with the FORTUNER I had to choose which way to go too. The Fourtuner is dated and needs a face lift which I think they are doing next year but probably will not even be close to opions on the Ford Everest. The biggest reason for not choosing the Fortuner was the two fold up back seats. By the way we sold a fortuner to buy the Ford Everest 3.0 V6 model which has more options first time sold in Thailand this years although made here the last 3 years. Yes parts are more for the Ford and probably are harder to come bye. I love the air conditioning seats in our model Platinum model. Love the way it drives and comfortable seats and fold down seats in the rear. But make up your own mind and do your own research.

Get a new passport. Pay for a rushed passport then no worries. Enjoy a stress free trip that way.

If I were you I would move to Vietnam 20% cheaper overall with a multi 90 day visa and just visit Thailand when you do a border run. 6 months Vietnam and 6 months Thailand.

You need your old phone and delete the banking app on it first before trying on the new phone and yes turn off wifi first and use data. Did this at two different banks easy if you have your old phone.

I agree only took about less then 10 minutes at K Bank but you need your old phone and delete the banking app on the old phone first. Same for Krung Thai. Wouldn't work if you don't delete app on old phone first. Sim card in wife's name no problem there either.
