You can answer questions quicker face to face is the big advantage as they ask so many. It will be a much longer process in Taipei online, i think.

Exactly, they are concerned about doing the same work and very much focused on non Thai connection with work. I was surprisingly called for an interview for clarification on my job and that I would only be working with non-Thai clients.

Yeah 6 mths statements but i was prepared for that. The staff was confused why I had more than one bank account and incomes going into different banks. Also, probs with company registration, I had one but not for another company, but I emailed them in advance and told them so, they said it was ok via email. Applied in morning, called back for interview in afternoon. Will go back Monday.. Soft power is just as bad for some applicants there today, they need work contracts to get approved from Taipei.
