the requirements ARE definitely consulate-specific. Sometimes there is no seasoning requirement, sometimes they need to see up to 6 months. To say it's the same everywhere is patently false.

the seasoning requirement absolutely does vary by consulate. Some don't care, some want 3 months, some even want 6 months. It is NOT the same everywhere. So it's absolutely a valid question.

Soft power routes are Muay Thai or Cooking (or medical), not language.

If you're from the US you should still file with the IRS. Even though you technically don't need to, if you ever go through a process that requires prior tax returns, you'll want to have filed. Also keeps fraudsters at bay.

Chicago consulate wanted to see seasoned funds from me, so in my case, it did need to be 'in all that time'.
