Yes, you need to update your Thai drivers licence so it shows the new passport number not the old one.

Yes if you mean your Thai one, your passport number is on it.

Oh, we misunderstood, if you are applying in Thailand you can't do it online or have passports posted but you meant do it online in the UK. That is different and also requires you to confirm you are currently living there. Your only hope is the gov.uk website for your information.

Not possible to do it online, the site takes you to the application process to find out what country you are in and lets you know where to go in person and what is needed. Applications by post stopped at least 8 years ago. They won't even post it to you when it arrives, it has to be picked up in person.

Gov.uk has all the information on how to do it yourself including prices. Maybe people here can recommend an agent then you can find out the prices as it may depend on where you are in Thailand.

11-12 weeks for the passport to arrive and can be up to 3 weeks for the appointment to put in the passport (10 days wait for me when I did it in March) so don't forget to add that on too. Or I do believe that their are quicker appointments for a fee.

No problem for domestic travel

Financial support will help, I'm not into giving money but for this it is very different, money so she can still keep her house running and for food. In the UK they warn you that after 7 days on life support the chances of survival decreases, it becomes harder for the body to take back over. But all circumstances are different, there.may be a head injury that can't be recovered from that is why just hoping and praying for the best outcome and wishing that there is something medical they can do for.such a young life.
