I'm staying in Thailand on a one year Non O retirement visa extension. Yesterday, I filed an online 90 day report (due May 13) and today I received an email saying it had been rejected and that I should contact my nearest immigration office immediately.
Should I be worried or is the email wording standard practice?
So just wanting to clarify some things. So I left Thailand and my marriage visa expired. I was advised by the head IO at my immigration office. To come in on a visa exempt. Then get a basic Non O visa. Then come back again and get a marriage visa. I'm not sure I understand why I can't just go straight and get my marriage visa.
Now they are saying. That to get that middle man Non O visa. My two witnesses have to physically accompany me to immigration office. I've never heard of this as well.
If this is the case it's fine. It just... doesn't make sense to me.
Looking at the OA visa, applying from the UK. I have a question about the 'certificate of criminal record clearance '. I can get a DBS check that costs £21.50, or an ACRO certificate which costs £68. Is the DBS sufficient or do I need to go all in with the ACRO?
Hi can someone post the link to the correct site for me to apply for a Non O retirement 90 day visa please. Official e visa site only has OA or OX visa ? Not just O . Or is it now called a 90 day Thai visa? With option to convert to long term when in Thailand?
I have a Non O retirement visa registered in Phuket. I am moving to a different Province. How do I go about transferring my visa to that new province. Immigration at the new one would not issue me a reentry permit and told me it could only be done through Phuket Immigration.
My first 90 day report after returning from a trip overseas on 31 December 2024 is due on 30th March. I have tried to submit online but as expected every submission online has been rejected with the reason “For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.”
My question is can my wife take my passport, completed and signed TM47 form, TM30 copy, copy of passport pages ( photo page, entry stamp, stay extension stamp and original Non O visa copy) and submit on my behalf or do I need to attend in person? I made an appointment for 27th March anticipating rejection of online submission but I would prefer not to go myself as my mobility isn’t great.
I am coming to live in Thailand June 10th on a marriage visa, plan to stay at my inlaws for a month or so while looking for a house to rent. Does my son in law file my immigration residence forms right away ( TM30 ) or do I wait till we find a house. Is there a ghrace time before filing.
As somebody who has their first Non O — 1 year Extension of Stay date coming up at Bangkok Immigration, I have 2 questions; 1). Am I supposed-to in advance glue one of the 2 recent identical headshots required, to the application form? AND 2. If II have already a preplanned trip back to America this summer, and to avoid dealing with it at the airport in June, is it possible to receive a valid EXIT STAMP in my passport at the end of the upcoming Extension of Stay appointment?
Hi all, so I was planning to get my Non O visa in the UK and fly out next month to Bangkok, the intention was to get the 1 year extension visa on this trip.... given all these issues getting a bank account, is it now going to be impossible ? I didn't intend on using an agent and I was going to try and sort it myself in one of the bank branches...I would be grateful for any advise, as I'm currently stuck in limbo..
