You just need a proof of exit, does not need to be onward flight. Just a onward something.

Thai Immigration denied me entry for this exact reason. Even had to sign a piece of paper that stated they had shown me this rule and I now know it exists.

This happened at Suvarnabhumi airport, one month ago.

Talked to multiple officers.

Immigration stopped me after 3 same-day border bouncing.

There is apparently a rule that states 90 days max of visa exemption in a 6 month period.

The officers you meet may or may not care about it. But if they want to deny you entry, they can.

The best option is a multi entry tourist visa in this situation.

ChatGPT does not know anything that happened after 2021.

That is the cut-off for content it has been fed.

She will go to the Immigration Office at IT Square Lak Si to extend her Visa Exemption.

But since she will leave Thailand on the 31st and be gone for a week she may not get the 45 day Visa Exemption currently going on in the first place, but the regular 30 days. As far as I know it is set to go back to the normal 30 days at the end of March. But extending the stay is at IT Square Lak Si either way.

She is required to have a ticket out of the country before her exemption expires when returning to Thailand. But she may or may not be asked for it.

If she will have problems returning is something I can't really answer.

IT Square Lak Si is your destination.

Your previous visas do not count for anything when you are now in the country on a Visa Exemption.
Marianne ********
Extensions are only 30 days, not 45.

So you can do 60+30, then border bounce for another 60+30 if you have the tourist visa again already or a multiple entry tourist visa.
