Michael Winter While my office requires 2 witnesses for the first extension, and then 1 for the following ones. And they need to come with us to Immigration.

Others have been asked and have been denied entry because of it. Because it is a requirement, even if your experience does not include being asked, yet.

John Nielson cash is the requirement.

Some officers will be lenient and be ok with online bank.

Depends on your passport.

But if you arrive visa-exempt, you should bring 20 000 baht or equivalent in another currency, in cash. This is a stated requirement from Immigration, and you may be asked for to show it.

You will also need a ticket OUT of Thailand within 60 days. Without it you might not even be allowed to board your plane.

Neither of these will always be something that's always asked for, but both of them are requirements that can be asked for.

The TDAC will need to be sent in 0-72 hours before estimated arrival in Thailand.
