Of course, just get a visit visa approved. They need UK sponsor, evidence of funds, or financial sponsors confirmation, full itinerary and reason to return to Thailand (no 1 issue). UK Immigration website covers all the requirements and there's a checklist on there somewhere

Can you exchange your foreign driver's license for a Thai driver's license without taking tests?

Yup sums it up. Not an exchange, they simply give oy a 2 yr Thai licence and you keep your foreign one. Easy 2-3 hours

Most airlines want to see or you won't get on the plane. Or immigration may also ask your plans to leave again $10 buys a onward ticket reservation

Depends on immigration officer decision. And no one on FB can accurately predict what they might decide. Safe bet is replace it as then guaranteed no issues, or risk it and see what happens

Is it true that your money goes further in the Philippines compared to Thailand?

Nope, disagree. Food in PH is poor overall, and if you want decent food it's is very expensive. You get more Pesos per dollar, but get less for your money .
