Qatar Airways . PCr Test question for those actually entered Thailand

Do Qatar (or immigration) actually ask for a hard copy of the PCR certificate or is the PDF accepted ?

I am aware often printed copies are best (several copies) but has anyone actually managed to board a Qatar flight to Thailand with only a pdf on their phone AND it be accepted by immigration

UpDATE...CoE, must have hard copies of everything. (No idea about Thailand Pass though)

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers are advised to carry a hard copy of the PCR test certificate when flying with Qatar Airways to Thailand, as it is recommended for both airline boarding and immigration procedures. While the Qatar Pass application indicates acceptance of digital copies, there are widespread reports that printed versions are necessary to avoid complications. Many travelers inquired and shared experiences regarding the QR code from the Thailand Pass, with several recommending proactive reapplications if issues arise.

In the email that comes with QR code it says bring digital or hard copy. They are able to scan the code from your phone's screen

U always need to submit the hard copy whenever PCR test is required no matter what

Plan on needing a hardcopy. Health Control keeps the PCR test paper after you pass through their station in the immigration process.

I don't think Qatar would accept an image, since they have to highlight the key areas on the form (presumably to show they checked it). I'd advise checking your departing airport and look for places to be able to print (even if you have to buy lounge access).

I am in the same boat. Supposed to leave for Thailand on Wednesday the 10th. No QR code yet. Not sure I should bother with PCR since it isn't clear that I will get the QR. The office for Thailand Pass only is open from 8:30 to 4:30 Thailand time which is Sunday night here. My wife tried calling the TP office a few times - we just got music playing. They didn't respond to email either. The consulate in Washington has no afiliation with Thailand Pass, fhus all we can do is wait and hope the code comes.

Tim Phuket I received my QR code 02:37 am Thai time

re-apply a few more times. My QR code came within 2 hr after applying for 3rd time. There is no harm to applying a few times. You might use a different Gmail account or the same

I re-applied last time on Nov 3. Is it safe to apply again with a Travel date of Nov 10?

@David *********
yes absolutely! I applied on Nov 2, then applied 3 more times on Nov 5 th. I am happy I did because the second application was rejected with comment "insurance page does not mention min $50,000 usd coverage". If I waited my first application it would have failed as I used the same insurance doc. I quickly changed the insurance info and applied 2 more times and one was accepted within 2 hours. You should do the same.
