Lol. I hate seeing these on TV screens. I've been to so many places in Thailand where they leave the plastic or stickers on the actual screen. This Pic was on the Ferry from Satun to Langkawi.
Lol. I order grouped stuff on Lazada all the time and instead of telling me "sorry, we don't have what you paid for" they mail me change... It really sucks when you order stuff that you need as a set and they don't tell you.. (imagine ordering 4 tires online, and a week later you only receive 3 and a cash refund for #4 😅).
I know a spot deep in the jungle where you can cross over into Malaysia. This will fix your Thailand problem. You can just say you got lost in the woods for months.
Hi. I went by private car through the border at Sadao 3 days ago. I stayed two nights in Malaysia, and re-entered through Pedang Besar. No issues at Pedang Besar, and no unexpected fees. Received 45 more days. I listed my friends house (I have registered the address with Hat Yai immigration previously). They did not ask about an onward ticket.
Side note: not sure if it matters, but I still had three weeks left on my previous entry, but I wanted to get one more trip to Malaysia before the end of the year.
awesome thank you so much! I'll just give an update as to what we experienced through the SADAO land border.
My friend is Thai and has their own vehicle, and got all the vehicle stuff (Malaysia license plate sticker, etc) sorted before going. We forgot to get vehicle insurance for Malaysia, but it is offered near the border station (1000 baht per month). You can also get money exchanged and a Malaysian SIM, but I purchased 7 day international roaming for AIS - 99 baht for 2gb. We filled out the paperwork at immigration at about 8am and there was no line. Charged 25 baht for the driver and 5 baht for each passenger. No issues and took about 20 minutes to go into malaysia. We came back through 4 days later at 10pm. I had no issues at immigration (previously spending 60+30 days in Thailand). It took about 20 minutes to come back through, and there was no line. 25 baht for driver and 5 baht per passenger again. It was much easier than I thought, but it was also more paperwork than coming by air. They gave me 45 more days in Thailand.
