Anyone from UK here had to get a Malaysian entry stamp put into a replacement passport after losing the old one. They won't do it without police report. The police won't give a report without a confirmation letter from embassy confirming old one cancelled and new one issued. High commission said they couldn't do it. Helpine directed me to phone a UK office who directed me to passport office who said they couldn't do and directed me to back to the UK number, this loop traveled several times. Who the hell am I supposed get this letter from . 🫣

If you use the Royal Thai Consulate General in Georgetown to apply for your TR come equipped with a copy from your malaysian entry stamp in your passport. If you forget they send you out to a man in a van outside the building charging you 10RM for it.

I need to do visa run from Thailand to Kuala Lumpur after my tourist E visa excpire soon.Do I need to do Malasya digital arrival card 3 days prior the flight or not?In case that I enter from Thailand?One more thing..can I only buy one way ticket for Kuala Lumpur as I dont know how many days I will be staying there yet?Thank you in advance!

Did someone do a recent border run at Padang Besar? Have there been any requirements like a onward ticket,hotel booking or obligation to stay a day in Malaysia before re-entering?

Hi! I was on a tourist visa with extension and afterwards 1,5 months in Malaysia. Am I right that I will get a 15 days Visa on arrival when arriving by ferry (German nationality). And I know this is only about Thai visas, but maybe someone also knows if I can enter Malaysia again without problems afterwards just to take a flight from Kuala Lumpur?
