I’m not sure. You can try to send them an email. Very responsive ( but don’t call - that was a bad experience - the staff in call didn’t know anything and even hung up of my call in midway.

My profile: 35 yo taiwan citizen, with a lot of tourist visas and language school ed visas in my current passport. Working as an online tutor.

1. Bank statement: I provided recent monthly statement (only 1 month) of HSBC Taiwan (in mandarin)

2. Certificate of employment: made by GPT, listed with my name/company name/start my job from/ work descriptions (especially mentioned that I can work in fully remote mode)

Must be in English. Must be with company’s official seal stamp and the wet signature from company’s top head(responsible person)

And you have to provide the copy of your company’s official registration from your country, with stamp and wet signature, too.

3. I even voluntarily provided supplementary docs such as 5-year tax report with my taxable earning from this company and another brokerage account with sufficient USD balance well over

USD within the last 6 months.

The staff asked me some details like: do you teach thai students? (Of course not). Seems that they really care whether you are earning high enough to support yourself and you are not going to take Thai people’s jobs.

Wish you good luck!

actually “cancel” rhetorically means application terminated in e-visa system . If they need more documents to check, the status will turn into “pending documents” so if you see “cancel” in evisa system that means this application won’t go any further (rejected de facto), and you can’t get any refund.

Bunches of applicants got rejected in china’s evisa system without refund - especially of Beijing consulate

As shown in the screenshot that rejected applicants posted their DPs.

IMO they have invisible quotas to mainland Chinese applications and/or those applicants tried to submit fake documents and got caught.

my Thai gf called to them on Friday, asking about what they require for "documents indicating current location". the Thai staff in embassy (Vientiane) said that it means a copy of your Lao entry stamp on your passport page.
