Last time when we apply for non-O visa in Phuket, we only give the landlord ID and rental agreement and TM30 although the document list include the blue book but our landlord also refused to give us. The immigration officer didn't insist on having the blue book so it turns out to be okay. Try your luck, maybe it isn't as strict in the office you apply. If anything, tell the officer to write in Thai and ask for you to the landlord the blue book -- that was our strategy but it turns out okay.

Yes, the stamp did say I have to leave. Thanks - now I'm a bit clear - coz the immigration officer didn't bother to explain much.
