Ahh that makes more sense, so after clearing immigration on my way back in the stamp will give me 60 days

or if it takes a couple days to get processed, maybe go to the thai embassy first in Manila, then pick the visa up on the way back

brilliant, exactly the advice I needed. Would I be able to get the 60 day single entry in Manila? Ideally what I'd like to do is fly out on from bangkok to Manila on the 4th (stamp valid till 5th), spend 5 nights in Angeles then back to Manila grab the 60 day single entry and extend it when it expires in jomtien.
