Can I Apply for a Non-B Visa Again After Overstaying?

Question regarding Non B work visa / permit. Few months back I successfully applied for both, got the 3 month stamp returned to pattaya where my agent was then going to extend it from 3 months to 1 year. Very long story short, time expired and I significantly overstayed. Now back at savanakhet to get the 3 months non b again, I already have my 1 year work permit in hand and have just paid the overstay. Currently in line at the current consulate and a fellow traveller just told me you cannot apply for another non b visa if its listed at the same address in such a short period of time, is that true?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual, who has recently overstayed their Non-B work visa, is seeking clarity on whether they can apply for another Non-B visa at the same consulate within a short time frame. Despite concerns raised by a fellow traveller regarding the repeated application for the same visa, multiple comments from others suggest that as long as the application is accepted and fees are paid, there may not be an issue. Ultimately, the person successfully acquired the new visa after some initial uncertainty.

Success! Although they made us sweat for it, came back next day a few us got told 'not finished yet, go sit we call you later' then thankfully they did exactly that and handed our passports back with shiny new stamps. 37 days of overstay was what worried me the most but they didn't even blink an eye 18,500 baht :/

Good luck. If they accepted the application and took your money, you should be all good. Usually if they're going to refuse you at that one, they tell you when you submit your paperwork.

I'm going there next week. Out of curiosity, how long was the line there today? Still 200+ people a day?

out of reports it was only no second Non Immigrant B if you do not have the work permit, it seems that you have that blue book with you, and the needed copies.
