Can you not just get a 60 day tourist then extend it to 90? that will give you the time needed

Hmm I did think that but an extremely trustworthy agency I use seems to think otherwise. She said either I can go do it this afternoon as it won't be to busy or they can do it for an extra fee

It's my own fault for being lazy and not sorting a longer term visa sooner but I shall be doing that as soon as I have my extension

That's awesome! Literally exactly what I needed, 30 more days gives me ample time to sort out my education visa. I was thinking because I'd done it once cannot do it again

so to be clear, the first time I arrived I simply did a visa on arrival, 30 days etc, I then extended that a further 30 days at jomtien and then did trips to cambodia and finally went to laos and got 60 day tourist visa which is due to expire on the 5th. So I am able to extend that 60 days to 90, even though I already extended in the past

Yeah it comes down to the teller, in my case having a small separate policy wasn't a bad idea

If you are in pattaya, all you need is any visa or visa exempt stamp, proof of where u are staying and to take a small accident damage/life insurance policy out with them, about 4k worth. Walking Street branch and they will open the account for you on the spot. Obviously take your passport also
