I know what that is. I remember now from the previous poster last year.

They want the lump sum in one account and the income part of the application paid in to a seperate bank account. 2 bank accounts, in your name only and evidence of regular income to that seperate account. IE, a pension company income certificate etc

Lump sum and income needs to total 800K Baht (Approximately £20,000) per year.

The note looks self explanatory. They are not prepared to continue to issue a single entry non b visa one after another anymore.

Imo, you will likely see more Embassys and consulates going the same route.

Time to get extensions

Even when they are quiet, Jomtien will never do a tourist visa extension more than 15 days before a permission to stay to date
Ron *******
It's normal for Jomtien to tell you to come back in the last 5 days or less of your permission to stay when they are busy

Not forgetting that an O-A visa application is now going to need the mandatory health insurance

A member here last year, did use a combination method of some sort. I believe it took a while though getting the proof of the documents required.

Thailand Elite visa is treated differently. They are issued in 5 year blocks. BUT if you only have 3 years left on your passport, the visa is issued for 3 years. Then, once you have a new passport, a new visa is issued for 2 years.

Hold on a minute. If your using a VPN faking Hong Kong, that could well be the reason. The system is seeing you not in China

Like Japan, it is all to do with residency cards, where they are issued, where you live etc.

It maybe, he cannot apply using Evisa, and has to apply at an embassy or consulate or cannot apply for a visa at all.

These country's are not straightforward for visa applications. Not all foreign passport holders with a UK residency, can use the Evisa system in the UK. Some have to make embassy appointments and the applications can take weeks. France is the same

If he was in the UK, US passport and UK residency, yes he could.

Applying in China, I don't know. China is different in the fact, the same as Japan, that the applications are province specific in where you want to apply the application.

You would need to read the requirements at the Embassy or consulate in the province you live in, alongside the Evisa application website.

No good me reading those consulate and conditions. They are in chinese
