Alcohol is freely available from convenience stores and supermarkets. Restaurants in designated provinces can serve alcohol.

เฮนนิ่ง ลอยค์แคร์ท. You can apply for it using Mor Prom app. There's a few places around Bangkok where you can pick it up, but there's about a seven day appointment queue. I believe the airport no longer issues them

You only have the first option. Your second scenario is not possible. You need to leave and re-enter to get the Non-O (50+)

Graham Castle. Visa On Arrival is 15 days, non-extendable, cost 2000 baht. Visa exempt is 30 days, extendable another 30 days, no fee. Same thing? 🤣🤣

You can get basic inter-provincial information from TAT, but there is no one source of information for local restrictions (small towns, villages etc) all of whom implement their own restrictions and requirements. If you have a specific location in mind, it is better to name that place and get local feedback

Gregg Steinberger. There will be entry restrictions on most countries probably for the next five years. We just have to accept what they are and choose accordingly. Thailand has many affectionados who will go nowhere else, and will be happy to navigate the process.
