i would agree, yes… but stupid people cant be helped. why stupid? because bank account questions are posted in this group every single day, multiple times, for almost a year. you would expect people to use the search function first or use their brain… just scroll the group 3mins and you will see multiple posts about the same topic… sometimes you ask yourself how these people survive in life…
that is why i allways make sure before renting that the landlord is ready to follow immigration laws… especially when i consider extending a visa, which would need much more documentation
a SWIFT transfer to whatever bank you prefer in thailand. yes it is perfectly fine for your bank and a standard procedure. dont do anything with a third party (no wise, no revolut, no agencies, no dubious companies, etc.)… just in case you could call your bank and tell them your plan to get a final advice.
the receiver account might also want to talk with his bank before receiving the money. there is also limits that trigger various actions. (unspecific)
