the only time you get checked is when you do the extension. same with the DTV….

yes you do NOT need 500k permanently. its even pretty stupid to have that much money uninvested… no one in thailand is checking for your 500k either.

no one has ever reported about beeing asked to show it… and its nowhere written that you need to hold the 500k permanently

with border runs you can literally stay for 5 years
