I think it’s completely fair to buy the insurance to get a bank account in my name. I just won’t pay an agent 16k for it. I rather give that money to someone in need than a greedy agent.

ok that sounds good. Scb is my bank of choice here. I had most banks but in gf name before. I now want in my own for marriage visa. Thanks for the advice 🙏

I would like to avoid getting the bank account in Pattaya because of the service charges for every transfer or withdrawal since I live in Bkk.

I rather pay the insurance for 5k if that gets me the bank account in Bkk?
