Well I initially came in on a tourist visa so extended at chang wattana, sonce then I've left Thailand twice and extended once at IT Square Laksi, haven't been asked for a tm30 previously, i notified immigration at the border of my address in Thailand 👍

is a tm6 acceptable if I don't have a tm30? I'm staying with my gf and the landlord has no idea what a tm30 is, it's a thai apartment building, thanks for any insights 👍

That's interesting I never knew visa exempt could be changed to a non b in Thailand I thought it was a tourist visa, thanks for the info 👍

Yeah I did it but actually came back after a few weeks, they did scratch their heads a bit but no fine when I explained it, I had actually cancelled the visa but they didn't put it in my passport for some reason,so I ended up with a non b and a visa exempt stamp 555

thanks for this, if I go now for example will the 30 days be added on to my existing days or will they take it as 30 days from now? It short shall I wait a few days before the visa runs out to go? Hope this makes sense and thanks for the reply and information 👍

if you get an exemption for 45 days and want to extend it in Thailand do they give you another 45 days or 30?
