I just went to get a Non B visa. I've not had to get one on my own before. I was given this receipt, no visa stamp and asked to return on the date that's been stamped. Is this normal? I was under the impression I'd be given the visa straight away. Thanks for any insights.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non B visa in Thailand, it is normal to receive a receipt indicating that the application is 'under consideration' instead of an immediate visa stamp. Applicants are typically required to return on a specified date to collect their visa.
